I got an economic impact (stimulus) payment, so I’m paying it forward. I have a job that continues to pay, so I can handle my expenses for now. That’s not true for too many people I know and care about. Jobs lost, childcare and elder care pulled out from under them, rent due or landlords trying to offload real estate, benefits cut off, police and jails still hunting us down… all that, and the risk of life-threatening illness?! It’s too much, but every little bit helps. If you have anywhere near the abundance of good fortune I do, pay it forward.
